As a guide, a well-maintained Acorn or Brooks stairlift under 2 years old in excellent condition may attract a higher offer; older models in good condition will be lower. We’ll always give you an honest, accurate figure before you commit.

How much will you pay for my stairlift?

The amount we offer depends on the make, model, age, and condition of your stairlift. As a general guide, a well-maintained Acorn or Brooks stairlift that’s 1–2 years old in excellent condition will command a higher offer than one that’s 4–5 years old with signs of wear. We’ll provide an accurate cash offer once we’ve assessed your stairlift – either remotely or in person. We won’t make you an offer we can’t honour.

How quickly can you remove my stairlift?

Once we’ve agreed a cash offer, we’ll arrange removal at a mutually convenient time. In many cases we can arrange removal within a few days of agreeing the sale. Our engineers will have the stairlift safely uninstalled and removed, leaving your home clean and undamaged.

What happens if my stairlift is older than 5 years? Unfortunately we’re unable to buy stairlifts that are more than 5 years old, as resale and reconditioning becomes less viable. If your stairlift is older, you may wish to contact a local stairlift removal specialist who can responsibly dispose of it, or speak to a scrap metal dealer who can recycle the aluminium components.
