I’m not usually one for reviews but the service from Helping Hand was exceptional. We were in an urgent situation and needed a stairlift fitted asap but with a very awkward flight of stairs. We had been told it couldn’t be done by so many people. I was struggling and messaged in sheer desperation with images of the stairs. Within a few hours Kerry had provided a quote and booked it all in. The stairlift was fitted today, just one week later and I cannot speak highly enough of Ian and Kerry. I found this website by chance when searching for a reputable company to install a stairlift for my 90yr old Mum and found they had amazing reviews. True to all of those reviews, Kerry was amazing with my Mum. She explained everything, there was no hard sell, and within a week the stairlift was fitted. Work was carried out to the highest standard, left the stairs in a very clean condition, and went on to explain to my Mum how to use the lift. She didn’t leave until Mum was sure of what she was doing with regard to the operation of the lift. Would highly recommend to anyone who needed a stairlift.

The thing that first struck me when I stumbled across Helping Hand Stairlifts was their transparency with pricing. Pretty much every other company made me jump through hoops before revealing the cost. I sent them a message and got a reply from Kerry soon after. She was polite, helpful, answered all of my questions and didn’t try any high pressure sales tactics. Her and Ian turned up when they said they would and did an excellent job of fitting, demonstrating and explaining how to use the stairlift. A great company, lovely, genuine people whom I wholeheartedly recommend.

A fabulous job done by Helping Hand. They were easy to communicate with either via telephone call or WhatsApp and quick to respond to messages. Helping Hand were excellent from start to finish. We put in a quote request on Sunday online. I was contacted Monday morning, photos were sent via WhatsApp, and a quote was given. Ian called in on the Wednesday to measure up and we confirmed to go ahead. The actual fitting was today (Monday). I was really impressed with their attentiveness, a rare quality these days. I honestly can’t recommend Kerry and Ian from Helping Hands highly enough! I was anxious about getting the right solution for an elderly neighbour but Kerry was so helpful and communication was quick, efficient and very clear. What an absolute gem of a company. From the initial contact with Kerry, to the stairlift being fitted by Ian, we cannot fault them. I whatsapped a few photos and received a range of guaranteed quotes, for various options. There were clear instructions on what was needed and these were adapted according to personal request.
