Reconditioned Curved Stairlift Fitted in Congleton!
How to finish a stairlift that comes into your hallway?

"My stairs come into a hall or are close to a door threshold! What stairlift options do I have?"
We were recently contacted by a client in Congleton who needed a curved stairlift fitting for an elderly relative that was coming to stay.
At the initial quote, it was clear that because the staircase came into the hallway, a solution was needed to allow clear access for the other able bodied people living at the property.
After some discussion of the different options, the customer decided they liked the idea of a powered hinge to clear the hall when the stairlift was not in use.
Within a couple of days of the quote being accepted, the stairlift was installed with two 90 degree bends and the powered hinge option.

The customer although very happy with the stairlift installation after discussion, the next day decided that they would prefer the look and clearance of a 90 degree bottom park option instead. We went back out and changed the bottom of the rail to turn back into the hallway.
The customer was much happier with this option as it cleared the staircase completely if they needed to move bulky items upstairs. The stairlift can be parked at the bottom, on the first bend and at the top of the staircase depending on what is required.
This is the feedback left on our Checkatrade page by the very satisfied customer who also scored Helping Hand Stairlifts 10/10.
“Excellent in every way. The workmanship and advice were exemplary and the craftsman was very personable and polite. Unbeatable value and service.”
