We were asked to quote for a reconditioned curved stairlift for this staircase in Denton, Manchester. The customer wanted to have an internal stairlift as it was the neatest option and it cleared the staircase when not in use.
Other stairlift companies had already been to measure. One had said they couldn't their stairlift as the staircase was too narrow. Another had said they could fit, but the only alternative was to have an external fitting. This option would need to have a powered hinge to clear the front door which the customer was reluctant to have.

This fitting was little tricky as the staircase was very narrow but the finished stairlift fits perfectly.

The stairlift fitted was one of our immaculate reconditioned Acorn 180 T565 curved. It was fitted with a brand new control board, new Lithium Plus batteries, new remote controls and batteries and a new battery charger.
Due to a low bulkhead and a very narrow staircase width, we had to build the stairlift as close to the stair treads as possible as well as tucking it in nice and tight to the newel posts to ensure the customer could use the chairlift safely. A perfect finish!
